Griffith visits Guts on the elf island, points towards cameras in the trees operated by little woodland creatures, and laughs his ass off. Guts turns to Casca and she starts laughing as well. Everyone in Guts' party laughs. The old Band of the Hawk all come spilling out of boats, all dressed in prosthetics and makeup that simulates their wounds from The Eclipse. Corkus grabs Guts by the neck and yells repeatedly in Guts' ear that he'd been pranked. Pippen and Judeau carry Guts' severed arm with them. Gaston brings over a towel and a bucket of warm water to wipe away the Brand of Sacrifice, or rather the Temporary Tattoo of Sacrifice
Before Guts' eyes, the scenery surrounding the elf island falls over, revealing a theater behind it erupting with thunderous applause from the crowd of familiar faces, including Gambino and Donovan, the God Hand, all the Bakiraka, and even the former king of Midland who only pretended to be dead.
"Happy April Fools," says Griffith as he places his hand on the shoulder of his old friend.
