I'm sorry, I'm looking for 1989.

Hello there!

My name is Pickle. I'm into cyberpunk and (alternate) history, but also space opera, space western, weird tales, and goofy characters.

After spending most of my childhood eating cereals and watching Cartoon Network, my sugar-coated mind recently gave birth to a series of books called The Future That Never Was, an extended universe of space bounty hunters, chain-smoking talking cats and 90s era movies references. It's nothing more than a fever dream but maybe it can make you laugh from time to time. If you like Cowboy Bebop and Borderlands, this is for you. And it's on scribble.

I'd love to have some feedback on it!

Thank in advance for your time!

Tags aren't very 1989tish. I mean, transhumanism and all but they seems too woke. I am suspicious.
I don't know why you didn't milk 1st person android(?) view to give related data when necessary, the way reader is introduced to world now... In written form such "sudden starts" were way to confusing, and considering minor info-dump beforehead is also not stylish. Reminds me of Star Wars, more that CB but.. After fast read throught two chapters I managed to grasp too little about MC and as result feel no connection.
The world is also seems to be punkish distopian cold war/Western frontier projection on future, so I am not really interested in such stuff, while some moments made me chuckling, like the fact that USSR managed to kidnappe Nazi scientists kidnapped by USA and Road Knight main actor old school joke, the "softness" of the science here is not to my taste with that imitation of Cyberpunk 2020 fuel.
