My fur is dark and pristine, like the night sky.

They exude a wonderful black mist more potent than even the fumes of the dark abyss.

A voracious color that seeks to consume all the light within the cosmos.

And I say to you, who dare to question my hue,

I'm Not A Gray

I am the Monotone Puppet. You are still but one color, as I am. Know that there are others with colors beyond our emotional ken, and WEEP. Though I won’t deny that I am far more bland and boring and droll than your gorgeous shade. Perhaps someday, I cruelly hope, I shall drag you down with me to the faded lands. Only a small bit of a shining glint would reside in our eyes. All that we shall hold dear, despite our companionship together in these dreary works of a drearier creator is our desire, our desperation, for COLOR.

How’s my rant? Not as long as @TheEldritchGod . I could never hope to aspire so far, but I’d say it’s pretty nice. *nods proudly and then snickers*

Oh, how cute...LITTLE PUPPET trying to take my place here in this void. YOUR grayness could never match the abyss from which I reside. WHOOPS did I say ABYSS? I meant my home where I do normal things like paperwork. Yes, because I am a regular PERSON just like you. I go out to work, and come home everyday. MY home has an attic. Do you know what is in that attic? Stacks of old memorabilia. That's right. Because I am HUMAN.

I am definitely not some ENIGMOUS cloud of eyes and spite. I am a HUMAN being with regular emotions. I don't have a tendril, or a tentacle for you to latch on to. If you are in search of such a thing, then I advise you to look elsewhere.

I could not PAINT your world full of grey, for you are already FULL of color. Your color is painted by the friends you made along the way. The people that love you here, and where is here? That's right. HERE Is a place, a world, that we call home. Are you catching on? Do you understand? YOU must find your color to paint the world of others.
