Ignore function for some reason, let you still see the "ignored person" if they use the like/react function : 
(analogy, its like blocking the mouth of someone
, but this person can still do "faces/grimaces" to you)
And well. For the people active on the forum, they probably witnessed the drama i had with someone, that love to abuse this loophole.
I wont mention the details but yeah.
I am in NO WAY having fun disparaging others, nor loving ranting, nor having enemies. I in fact live by the asian motto : you respect me, i respect you. In fact i wish (if i could) to be friends with ALL USERS on SHF. Idc if you are black/yellow/red/purple/vampire/furry/100yearsELDER as long you are nice. But as you know, humans are very random.
And well, some of them troll. Its like a sports for them to jab at others, just like NAGATORO do. But anime=/=reality, it is not fun to be targeted by a troll nor they have a crush on you.
I wont say : Hey lets vote if we ban this person.
Because it will sounds petty and evil.
(without speaking of my bad luck that everyone will misunderstand me as the villain and the other party the innocent, or vote no)
But what i CAN DO, is ask if they(mods) can perfect the "ignore" system so they allow to also hide the react from the "ignored people".
And well. Me aside, and drama aside, im sure there are othepeople probably that also dislike some other people, and seeing their react bypass the ignore system can probably be jiffy for them.
PS : I never wanted to request this feature. Bc usually people (SHF users) will stop if you ask them kindly to stop if they are annoying or have certain dislikes (like WoolMonkey, you ask them nicely to not post poop emojis to you, they do), as the users here are nice people OR even if drama, both parties respectfully distance from each other in a tacit way.
But in my case, despite my numerous asking, they still do it. (context : spam at all serious/sad stuff i say but when i share normal or funny stuff? TOTALLY SILENT).
Worse even, is them denying doing it, saying they dont care of doing it, and will continue doing it with the excuse of "freedom of speech". (just like i also have the freedom of speech to spam to anyone or to a SHF user that tell a bad anecdote today like their car having a pierced tire)
So yeah, here we are. Forced to request this, when i wish more to request about : please give more option to the react function bc there is a missing in-between the thumbs-up and love eyes[
], and an in-between of sad and angry face [
])
PPS : Mod warned them.
(and not fooled by their rhetoric and faking being innocent) (proof to others that im not discrediting others or whitewashing myself => im often misunderstood as the bad guy for some reason SO MANY TIMES) (and NO i am not smug about it, just tired at this point)
But who knows if it truly worked and/or will stop.
So compared to believing they changed their ways (if its their personality, its impossible ; For info, im not criticizing their personality, as im sure there are people that will like theirs but just saying its hard to change. ESPECIALLY IN 2026), or believing that mod will always be there, i request this feature. In fact not really a feature, but more like "solving a flaw" from the ignore function.
PPPS : Sorry for my way of writing that can be jiffy for some or hard to read. Its just that im so unlucky to a so high lvl, that im forced to do so. Because murphy law exist, but i suffer a super-murphy law. And i lost count of people misunderstanding me, despite clearly me being innocent. AND im unlucky when i speak (and type). And too honest (life is already hard enough with all the lies everywhere, and i simply dont want to wear one on SHF).
(Edit) Oh and for some reason, there is this weird bug,
where if you type your profile post from main page of SHF page. When you finish it and post, if there is an ignored person that was the last to profile post, they will appear (momentarily) to you.
