If you were to redesign something people deem important but is terribly inefficient, what would it be?

Well, since I am a Civil Engineer imma go with the roadways and traffic lights.

Also to anyone who thinks that the Imperial system is inefficient, I'd have to disagree. I know many people who are from metric countries who came over and began using Imperial, and now like it better than metric system. Once you understand how to use it it makes a lot more sense to use.

Why is that a thing people always forget? America didn't just out of the blue come up with the Imperial system. It was brought here. Really, it's British :)
and yet even the british caved long ago and started using metric for most things. so i guess it's more a question of why the US is one of only 3 countries that still uses the imperial measurements practically exclusively.

We merely adopted the system.

I’m gonna guess this is fake. But my God... if this is real, I’m really thankful someone made that. ? ? And if you believe someone is holding an ? you’ll probably stay away (admittedly, some may see that as a challenge) But yeah, we really did adopt the Imperial system from Britain, as we were once a British colony. And the imperial system had roots in Roman civilization.
