Writing If it doesn't have perfect logic, there isn't even subpar reality.

Write as if you are detailing a scientific sequence of causality.

Only after you ideally-fit all the cogs & gears will the machine begin functioning.

Don't delude yourself into thinking it is functioning unless you directly experience the flare of sublime activity a finished chapter clicks-into-being.

I'm writing fiction, not a science book.
My readers want something unrealistic to escape from the boring reality they called personal life.
Why would I want to write Pythagoras or Thermodynamics laws?
I do think that those scientifics augment my writing, but I wouldn't bore my readers on explaining how neural networks and natural language processing works.

Does you MC want to purchase something like property or business in your story? Make sure you detail your MC filing all the right paperwork and walk us through them filing their taxes for that extra punch of realism. No shortcuts like them walking in and just buying stuff to get on with the story.

Story mechanics, be it either magic or science, rely more on believability than realism. I believe every story should have believable explanations for every mechanic. But if you believe that every story should have realistic/scientific explanations instead, you will alienate most readers and attract the types of people who read your story and flame you constantly for not having a degree in at least 4 different majors.

I'm not saying you shouldn't introduce elements of realism or scientific explanations in your story. Sprinkling them into your explanations will help a lot in adding depth and immersion. But if you use them for everything, it gets tiring for the reader and makes things bland if handled improperly in the long run (ex: merely doing it to look smart).

Well, you and quite a few others don't seem to comprehend that if your story doesn't fucking make sense you can't possibly enjoy it.

Of course, you don't need to write a bunch of useless details that are uninteresting and get in the way of experiencing the plot. I never said you had to give explanations behind every phenomena; "perfect logic" means syllogistically your conception works against reality.

As for saying 'my novel is for escaping reality' do you even understand how fucking stupid that requires you to be, to even believe that is possible?
Forget about being stupid, it can only be dishonest of you regarding your own mind----to consider anything but reality as what can be imagined; any thought in your head you could ever have only has the reference of reality----past present future----to take as the subject.

The only thing other than reality is NIH, which just means annihilating yourself. Goodbye, reality!

(Also, a fic is the reflection of what could be if things were different: the rule is that when you are generating the setting\context, it cannot have factual events within it. This doesn't suggest evading reality, but eschewing-out the possibilities therein by showing how extremely different your choices make them.)

You have no place to criticise people for being stupid.

You pop in every few days to drop a turd of "knowledge" and when no one rightfully takes you seriously because most of it is at best nonsense you get offended.

I'm talking about creating something with perfect logic so it aligns with reality & therefore can be considered genuine intelligible content.

Your response to this is decrying that I am speaking nonsense.

By what standard?

Nonsense Land? [IOW, nih.]

No because any actual skilled writer knows that they are writing a story not a text book and that though internal consistency is important being 100% logical is not actually commendable and can actually harm a fictional story. Even biopics which are based on true events bend things from 100% what happened to emphasise a particular narrative they are telling because if they just tell it as it happened which would be the most logical sequence of events then most people wouldn't care to watch it because being 100% realistic isn't what people like. People like narratives not pure logic.

The only thing most of your tips tell me is that you know very little of what you talk about when it comes to writing and that's coming from someone who still has plenty to learn when it comes to writing too.

The reason most responses aren't seriously addressing your tips is because you don't even seem to realise this and just argue for your uninformed opinions as if they are some kind of wisdom from on high.

LOGIC is the art of anticontradictory identification; causal fluency.

You don't even stick to the actual meaning of words and just use the stereotype "logic = boring unending formulas".

a LOGICAL NARRATIVE is a telling of events with a fully functional theme and plot

Who can talk to a bastard like you who doesn't dare or bother looking deeply at the real meaning behind words? The true principle underlying a concept?

Sigh...

It is pretty offputting how many scumbag shamartists there are around here.

Hey, @prognastat ---Mr Nihilist--- why don't you give me the honor of offering the Last Word like a good lil evil nobody?

Because I can't bear to suffer all this nonsense anymore.

I promise I won't respond to you again; isn't this the perfect opportunity to flex your socially superior bullshit in a fashionable flair of virtue-signalling?
