Idea For a Weapon System

Weapon Name: Nerf Stick

Description: This is a wooden staff with a stuffed pony head on one end. The pony head has a dump grin and googly eyes that rattle around in whatever direction as moved. The fluffy fabric it is made of is a combination of pastel blues and a bright white.

Special attack: The horse head lets out a noise that sounds like a whoopy cushion when it strikes something. The object struck looses an incremental level of effectiveness from each contact.

Example: A sword hit by enough times with the nerf stick will turn into a foam noodle.

Too over the top? Thoughts?

That sounds OP but is counteracted by sheer comedic value and embarrassment of the weapon so it's rather balanced. Could easily see it as a Monty Python-esque weapon.

Is the drop in effectiveness based on target's size, or limited radius etc.

Like if i drop the stick and it clatters on the ground...
