I want to stick to the schedule, but I can't.

Absolutely. Just let them sit until your release date. If you want you could always open up a Patreon and prerelease the chapters there.

It does be like that. You wanted to see them/your reader reacts to a particular situation or scene, but you don't want to ruin your schedule. Like one above me said(not directly above), opening up a Patreon and turning the stock chapters into advanced chapters do can give you more than a quick buck if they are already hooked to your story and don't mind paying to read more. That way, you can get your reader feedback at the same time, it pays you.

:blob_popcorn: Sitting here with one finished novel slowly being uploaded and 30 chapters of the third installment. I guess you are new here?:blob_uwu:

Just wait until your release time. c: Allows you more breathing room to learn and other stuff. Or do the Patreon route.

I’ve got about a year and a half of stock piled chapters(in terms of if I release a chapter every other day). I have the patience of a Buddha. More like I just know I’ll get in a several month long slump at some unknown point in time and won’t be able to write anything.

Been slowly working on my first story and feel similar. I've got a few weeks of backlog stored, which is good since I can't write this week. Save your chapters, you may need them. Or do as others say and put them as early release on patreon. Or do both, backlog for your early release is good to have.

I am writing a couple of stories and have a fixed schedule for story update. But now that I have a few stockpiled chapters, I just want to post them and be done with it. Does anyone else face the same issue
And here I am, trying to write and edit ONE chapter, and barely make it ready in 2 MONTHS. ?
I am so jealous of you. Wish I could feel that giddy excitement while I waited to post the next chapter on a scheduled day.
In any case, I agree with waiting patiently for the correct time to post, that way it will have more exposure, like showing up on the latest updates page.
Yours is a problem on its own, too, and I wish you a strong determination ?

My story on Scribble Hub, if anyone still wants to check it out:

Once in a day I managed to make 5 chapters of about 2 thousand words each, it was the same day that I published 5 chapters in a day with so little traffic that it did not even make the average of the previous days.

I would upload another meme, but the state of my stories speaks volume of my work ethics.

Post them, but strategically to get the most benefit

I usually put a schedule on my chapters to which they would release at a certain timeframe without me having to worry about stockpile and such. By the time I post my chapter, I already been watching youtube while having a snack.

I usually just write a chapter, put it on a schedule and be done with it before the chapters runs out while I just sit back and sleep. So, if you have a stockpile chapters but don't want to worry about having to release it, do try about making a schedule since scribblehub actually has a certain mechanic to schedule your chapters.

Almost everyone face such issue. For example I postponing updating one of my stories (not on this site and not on English) for more than 3 years and not for lack of inspiration since I even already have it on paper and just need to "digitalize". I just... Always keep finding some other things to do.
