Well, the very basics would be, you need a notebook and a pen. That is for jotting down ideas for your work.

Next, if you plan to do make a digital copy of your work, a document processing app like MS Word, or LibreOffice would be beneficial to you.

You can also use the platform's document editing tools for writing.

I use google docs for writing. Google sheets for plotline/timeline, character sheets and other details.
There are some dedicated tools for writing like ywriter/scrivener but most of them are PC only.
With google docs I can do my writing on my mobile. I just punch in a few words every now and then, it works well for me.

The most important tool is yourself. You are the writer, the one who creates. Prepare yourself.

In addition, anything that you can use to write is fine.

Pen and paper have been used for centuries and have been the tools of choice for many, even now.

The basic notepad has all you need to write a story and is even more convenient that the traditional pen and paper.

Word processors like Word and LibreOffice provides you with even more tools to make writing easier though they aren't really designed for creative writing but for designing the document and layout. You could write your story in them but they are actually for finalizing the document for (traditional) publishing.

There are dedicated writing software for the writing process like Scrivener, OStorybook, YWritter, and Manuskript.

On mobile, there are many writing apps.

But, in the end, just choose what works best for you.

Also, set some time aside every day for writing. Do a little every day, even if it is just one sentence. Often, one sentence will lead to more.
