I came across this author on Facebook, and yes, I agree with his observations. This is not to completely 'crush' your dreams of becoming a novelist, but rather, enable you to pursue your dream of writing while keeping it real and having you pay your bills and expenses while chasing novels.

Even I have to keep it real. I work as a public school teacher with a sideline of being an illustrator and a print shop owner while writing my stories. Of course, real life does get in the way. But it doesn't mean that whenever I'm distracted, I'll give up and procrastinate. I fix my schedules and do stuff one at a time, so that when everything's done, I can write and draw as I like.

His advice is outdated but still pretty good. In the age of the internet it has never been easier to write novels and earn money, so while I agree with him, he comes off as a little too pessimistic.

To dream reasonably.

Once AI writer is no longer a dunce, it's a wrap.
