Why is 90% of new releases always have harem tag? Is there something happening that I don’t know about?
isnt because wish fulfiment and harem are popular? like most people life are shit and most men lack female attention in their youth so both walk hand in hand i guess

Well, this is smuthub, and trends come and go. Like there was a time it was genderbent MC. Same with RR. RR is OPMC and through the years there were several flavors, until settling on litrpg. And then when it came to litrpg, different trends also come and go.

I mean, I wouldn't say 90%. I mean maybe around 30~60% at most?

....I keep up-to-date with the new releases... probably a bit too much.

... Just actually read all the post in the forum, people had mentioned actually statistics, it's even lower than I thought.

some authors are fighting back on other sites against harem lovers by adding no harem in the tags, making it also show up when searching for harem. or the good ol smut tag with the disclaimer saying their might not be smut, depending on authors feelings

Some time ago there was "great exodus" of revered authors from TGStoryTime. I rarely visit that site, so I didn't witness what happened. But I've noticed some shot stories I've read there appearing here, and from what some authors have written in their profiles, some time ago some toxic guy(?) appeared at TGST and left a bunch of unpleasant comments to different stories of different authors. Administration of TGST didn't react to complaints, so many authors decided to go elsewhere with their short stories and novels. I bet, it answers well about the "time with genderbent MC".
