yeah its okay for a live action anime. But that doesnt mean its anything great. Like, it feels so....campy. Also Luffy looks OLD, bro. Anyone remember the Sinbad TV series on the Syfy channel? Thats what it should've looked like. At least it would be bright and coloful instead of so damn dark and weird. And why did Buggy look like Joker?

Luffy was just hella annoying in early One Piece. His ADHD ass annoyed the hell outa me. He only got slightly better after the time skip.
To me LA Luffy is just as annoying as Early anime Luffy.
@CupcakeNinja I think that's some of the things that comes with live action, and arguably, natural shading and reasonable lighting can be seen as one of the draws of doing it as live action. I personally think that the lighting is perfectly fine. As to why Buggy looks like the Joker, they are both clowns, with incredibly overdone and exaggerated makeup. It's to be expected.
Instead of trying to find something that makes them happy, they nitpick and look at it with the older, jaded eyes they now have, rather than the eager-for-wonder child's eyes that first saw the anime or read the manga.
Really wished FMA live action got the One Piece treatment but that'll be very unlikely

To me, the camp on the side of being meh or disliking the One Piece LA complain too much.
They do the adaptation poorly even if their tom cruise in it, they ruined the manga. The armor in the movie look like a cheap dyi. While they can have him wear a large armor with a fucking bix axe. The aliens was good if I remember right. It's too bad they didn't show how much the MC suffer in each time loop to the point of sucide in some and even losing all hope.
