Hello everyone! Just wanted to celebrate the fact that I drew the cover for my novel. At first I wanted to make it a comic, so I worked on my drawing skills, but comic will take me too much time to complete as one person, so I needed to adjust. So, first comes the novel, then the comic. But, in the meantime, I can draw illustrations from it from time to time, and I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out! Let me know, what do you think about it? :)
The white color on the fire is too bright. Never use pure white (255, 255, 255) if you want your cover to be modern.
Sure you want it to be bright. But making the fire just light green (but it needs to retain it's green), and put even more brighter green glow brush as the indicator of the Spirit is glowing.
--------------
Next, the title text can't is hard to read.
It's overlapping with the green fires.
please make the title style contrasting the background. If the background is crowded with decorations, the title must be clear and simple.
And if the background is simple, you can make the title filled with decor or styles.
------------
You can also try to experiment by putting fade to black behind the title so that the title can be seen.
Top layer : Title that can be seen
Middle layer : fade to black
Base layer : the Spirited man
Top layer : Title that can be seen
Upper Middle layer : little bit of glow from the Spirit man, make sure it doesn't overlap the title
Lower middle layer : Fade to black
Base layer : the spirited man
Well, that's all I can tell. As a third rate design graphic college student, I'm rather ashamed I can't do more.

Thank you for the advice my friend! It's true that it's pure white, it came due to the glowing effect. For the title, I have also a dark version for the logo, but unsure if it'll look better on it because of all the colors. I'll test it out, thanks for pointing it out! :)

Your art style is outstanding. I love it!
But as a fellow noob artist, I would recommend putting some dark shades in order to make the light colors pop off.

Thank you! I've had a lighter version that was even harder to read, so I put something in the middle. I think that the title name will appear anyways around a lot so it's not that critical :)
