I Can't Write Synopsis

Hey, this isn't a tip-needed post, just a place to chat about synopses (I believe that's the plural word). I'm 4 chapters into my new story, which is the most non absurdly magical and fantasy stuff ever, and I've had to re-do my synopsis about 5 times, just to make it good and sense.

Pfff. I just can't write synopsis, I rather just leave it blank, but my tism mind tells me not, and I have to do it. How does other people do when they write their own? I'm talking about how you feel, and perhaps… what you do to cope with it.

Synopsis is probably the most challenging part of writing. You have to summarize your entire story into a few sentences while hooking the fish at the end of the line. It has to have where it starts and where it is going.

I've learned that short and simple works best! So, I keep it how I like it. Don't overthink it!

My advice for synopsis’ is to go to myanimelist and look at the community curated synopsis’. Anything that says [mal rewrite] is usually pretty good. If you look at the top 100 list all of those will be very well done and constantly peer reviewed.

Read some of those and try to copy or find inspiration from them

Try to ask for tips from readers, I used to ask people to summarize my story, I would mix the summary together and add some on my own.

You can do the following, which might irk the readers, but for them to complain, they need to comment. The most of them don't do that even when they like the story.

So, wait for it....

Write your beginning idea, then make no promises you will stick to it XD.
