I was wondering if SH has the shoutout swap system. It would be a goat for promotion, though.

Unfortunately, that's just how popularity games work. I wish the truth was that good stories get popular, but it's more about making connections, which is true of real published books, too. That isn't to say that books at the top of RR are bad, just that a lot of hidden gems get left behind because of that fact.
