Just a small “yippee” post!
I’ve been uploading here on SH for a few months now, and while my overall stats certainly aren’t anything to write home about and I’m making a whopping zero dollars an hour doing it, I’m SO happy to have attracted a handful of regular readers/commenters who follow every chapter. I wish I could give them all a hug LOL—some of their comments have nearly made me happy cry. I even put together a little collage of nice comments to pep me back up when I’m feeling down about my writing, haha. Really, just seeing familiar names pop up on my stats page (even if they never comment or favorite or anything else!) gives me a little dose of serotonin. Like… you guys really keep coming back to read something I wrote? Thank you so much!!!
I just wanted to take a minute to be actively grateful for the people who bother to spend their time reading and thinking about (and recommending?? omg???) what I’ve written, even if it’s in a space where none of them will read it lol. It absolutely makes the work worth it!
