Looking for works that fall under the ‘Possessed a character in a Magic Academy’ Trope. It has to be a non-translated work/original work here on SH. Has to at least have one chapter (no “Wait until I post” waiting game). Depending on how I subjectively feel about it I’ll either write a comment down below after reading or I’ll add a good review on top.

You guys don’t have to worry about a bad review since I’ll only write it if it draws my personal and subjective interest. I’m more the type to try to get my favourite story more popular than people to share my personal opinion on why I dislike a thing. People are very subjective in their reviews.

All I can say is that I’ll treat it very fairly.

No, this isn’t a review swap (in case any asks). I just feel like reading a bunch of different things that suit my current interest. I don’t like NOT commenting on things so there is that too. The review part is simply because… why not?

I don’t see a reason why I shouldn’t give a good review if I like a story. Especially if I see a lot of potential early on.

I’m also open to recommendations that are SIMILAR to that like generally possessing a character in general (without an academy), an academy story without possession, or something that has an battle academy just in general.

Looking for interesting takes on the trope.

Are you open to stories that aren't what you're looking for or nah? I made a pdf of my litRPG novel draft yesterday for convenience purposes in the future.

Sure, why not? I don’t see any list of recommendations before your comment so I’m definitely free enough to take a look.
Thank you! I must tell you, though, that this will be the last time I'll ask for feedback of a story that isn't even out yet. I'll move to Royal Road by then, so I may not be as active in this site, but any help is appreciated. It's time I grow a spine and see of I can make it.

I know an amazing one here, Foxfire Fistfight, but unfortunately it went on hiatus at chapter 7 so the author can story plan and build a backlog.
It's not mine, just instantly came to mind when I read what you were looking for.

I did a quick skim of the draft and didn’t see anything bad until I read “Hajime was thankful”. I believe a good way to improve is to cut yourself away from the protagonist a little to present him as a survivor with deeper thoughts. Maybe show an action of thankfulness than saying that he was thankful in that particular instance.

Other than some parts being a bit too straightforward in presentation, I see a lot of potential in it. Remember that there needs to be a layer of subtext in a story. People need to have things to be guessing about.

That's all I needed to hear from now on, honestly. I'm glad someone finally pointed out I'm still working on my showing and not telling. Anyway, it's time for me to edit and maybe even rewrite my remaining chapters, which is way harder than it sounds.

I finished the first chapter of my novel: The Rise Of The Crime Lord, please review and give thoughts on chapter one and what is your opinion on the cover?
I want to write 15 to 20 chapters before I start publishing.

Edit: I edited the chapter since the beginning had a lot of grammar errors and unnatural dialogue

Hi @Arch9CivilReactor! Are you still open to reading stories? I'd appreciate a review or comment :)

My story isn't about possessing characters in the traditional sense. However, some characters have the ability to alter other people's memories, which is used on a large scale to influence peoples' allegiances and actions in a war. Memory magic and the manipulation of memories play a large role in my story, as the MC even ends up trapped inside the memory world of his former friend.

Would you be fine looking at a transmigration story? Basically a girl takes over the body of someone from another world. It's not exactly what you are looking for, I know.
I'm looking for people who have some feedback for me, as I'm almost at the end of season 1, which means I will then go over the entire story and work through it.
