So I am writing a legend of Zelda fanfic, and i'm stuck on portraying Princess Zelda. She's such a complex character. I haven't been able to bring out the regal vibe she gives me when watching her videos. I'm stuck rewatching every video she's in and am even considering to binge watch disney princess movies.
Any suggestions guys??

Personal opinion: For me, the feeling of royalty that comes from that Zelda isn't about exceptional grace, but rather her sense of responsibility for her people. A sort of pride and determination to do the best she can for her kingdom, even if she'd rather run around outside. She also has a rather strong mind, that adds to that

Yes, those are the best kinds of princesses! I recommend The Story of Saiunkoku for another great example.

honestly, to me she is very smart and independent but I think her determination to be the best she can be for her people is what really stands out. She feels the need to always improve. She's very mature for her age also. Not sure if this helps but I wish you good luck. (o´ω`o)

the breath of the wild zelda
BOTW Zelda doesn't feel like a princess so much so as her position as some "higher being". You want a good princess you get ocarina of time. In there she actually makes a difficult decision at the end of the game in order to keep her kingdom and people afloat.
