That mostly depends on you and your audience. My work doesn't use any of power of friendship or sheer will beats all or any names like twin dragon heaven technique. My cringe protection is so low I cringe on giving my characters names like Christina or Elizabeth since I know no one now has that sort of name.
I don't think I am qualified to answer that question since my own work is in dumps.
Still, a technique I often use is to translate that sentence to my native language to see if it sounds weird. I suppose translating english to extremely polite victorian english would have the same effect.

I induce cringeness by saying stupid things in a matter-of-fact tone. Things like emo shit and basically zoomers' whining about the unfairness in life and I enjoy the cringe in my work.

Don't want cringe? Do the opposite that I did.

Say facts in a sTUpiD tone and talk about boomer problems of overpopulation and increasing prices of universities and sit in despair as your worst nightmares come true?

Me see this is the successor of @CadmarLegend. Thread formation here we go. :D

Research. Research to find out how will people react. Think how people might likely react to a situation. Multiple times proofreading and saying it out loud to better hear what has been missed. Give it some good twists.

The following is hypothetical.

We cringe because we feel disgusted with something, which is the result of the writer not being able to properly express himself in words to make the reader feel what he wants them to. In other words, when you somehow fail with the rule 'show, don't tell.'

The common theme in things that make us cringe, in my opinion, are statements that are supposed to have an emotional impact, but don't. Making it feel fake. So how do you solve this?

1. Set the tone properly. If a character is supposed to feel strongly about something, then it needs to be built up. A backstory of sorts, that leads up to why the character is feeling the way it does at that point in time.
2. Confident writing. When writing the event the make us cringe, one needs to express it confidently and not hold back. The scenario needs to be precise and impactful, and not go on a side track.

You fool. Cringe is your greatest weapon. It is your ally for making humorous scenes. Seriously intentionally wince worthy scenes can be really fun if it's done right

I don't understand, why would you want to avoid cringe? Embrace it. Become it. Life is just a grand cosmic joke that we all started taking seriously at one point. So stop trying to be serious and remember that at the end of the day it's all just a game and we're going to die no matter what. So have fun with it. :blob_popcorn:

Christina Aguilera
Elizabeth Taylor

You were saying? I have heard those names among normal people too, it's just that girls with those names tend to shorten their names to things like "Cristi" or "Liz."

This is actually a pretty good way of writing. Some of the absolute best written webnovels in the entirety of the charts have scenes in them where the author intentionally tries to write the most cringworthy case of situational tension they can possibly set up, basically a situation where the reader just knows something very socially bad is about to happen. Then, whether you get exactly what you expect or you get a subversion of the expectations, either way the release you feel as the reader when the cringe moment is over serves to leave the reader excited for the ride afterward.

Cristina Aguilera is a famous singer. Elizabeth Taylor was one of the really big name movie actresses. That's why the two of them were the first names off the top of my head.

Anyway, if you are not a native English speaker, perhaps you are not the best judge of what is and is not a common name in English speaking countries?

Yes, I am not a good judge. That was my point above, that my cringe protection is so low I cringe at names like Elizabeth and Cristina, even if they are common, simply cuz I am unfamiliar with them.
