Just as the title says, I want to know about the tips on how to be productive on writing chapters...in how much hours you spend.

Especially with someone who has a Patreon/SubscribeStar/or any third-party funding sites

1.5k ~ 2k
you will find most of the fiction in this range if it is uploaded daily. everyone has their own pace but if I have a chapter already prepared in my mind I require approx 2 hours to perfect it in words

take my advice since you used your brain to ask before posting unlike the dumb me
only publish when you are at least 30 chapters ahead of the scribble hub. keep writing even if there is no buzz in your fiction. you will be rewarded for your effort

I don't have any Patreon or any third-party funding sites. But, I'll just write around 1000-ish or a little bit more.

For me, it's more like a hobby, so I did it during my spare time. It's around 1-3 hours to write that 1000 words tho. Or I continue to write it tomorrow after work so it can happen for 4-5 hours too (counting the second day). Yes, probably I'm kinda slow writing that, but pretty much I had fun.

2550. That’s where my average lately has settled and that’s what I always aim to shoot for. Getting over 3000 is occasional and entertaining but getting beyond 3000 feels like a little too much, especially for rapid editing. If I get closer to 2300 or thereabouts than that’s fine but that’s as low as I prefer to go I wanna at least clear 2000.

Range is about 2k to 4k per chapter. Depends on what you're going for in the chapter, though.

For me I can finish 1k words for a chapter in about 30 minutes to an hour, but if I want it to be good I slow it down a bit. Recently I have been posting 1.5k to 2k words per chapter. I always keep notes to the side of my google docs now in the "Summary" section. The best way to be productive is to start writing something. Once you start putting down words they keep going, and if you need help with flow or prose, then you can try to practice rearranging sentences. Everyone will come out with a different word count, but it is best to at least go above 1k.

1k per chapter. Takes about 40 minutes, and I post every 3 days. Probably have a lot more views if I updated daily, but just feels like a grind.

2k~ is where you want to be, but sometimes I go as low as 1.2k. It depends on the chapter and whether you've accomplished what you set out to achieve in it (Or just want to break it up in smaller parts, which is fine).

Usually for 2k words it'll take 2-4 hours to complete, so 500-1k words an hour. One of the ways to be productive is to be super invested in your story, and really show it. The process of writing depends on what else I have opened in the background to distract me, so you want to avoid opening chrome or steam. Music with lyrics tend to be distracting as well when writing dialogue.

Before I opened my patreon I opened a Discord, which is currently at 184 members. I think the Discord was the best idea I've ever come across because that's become one of my primary motivators (so many wonderful people I've met through it!), alongside the story itself, patreon, and just loving writing for what it is.

The most I've written in a day is 5k words if i have the whole chapter and plot in mind.

I post on Smashwords now, and I do 1,200- 1,300/1,400 words per chapter. I wrote my last book in 11 days (81k). Mostly, I do 4 hours writing sessions. Editing, at least the first wave, included.

My main chapters in Arc 1? Minimum of 2.6k to maximum of 6.7k words.
My main chapters after Arc 1? Minimum of 4k to maximum of 4.6k words.
My side chapters? Minimum of 700 to maximum of 3k words.

My work is an isekai fantasy, and as something close to 'high fantasy', I felt I should explain the concepts and ideas of my story without actually infodumping on my part as the author, and overloading my readers. That's why, I end up with more words that I intended, let's say, if I trim the 'break' paragraphs.

Edit: as for how long? Depending on my 'mood', I can write as high as 12k a day (entire day), or as low as 500.

That's a tough one. I shoot for 2500-3k, though early arcs it was 1500-2k, and i almost never manage that range. they tend to run long 3.5-4k or more...

as for how long it takes, if its an easy chapter, i can do 5k in 3 or so hours. but a tough chapter might take 6 hours for 3k

Not funded, not Patreon, not Ko-Fi, or anything.

My chapters are normally +5K to 7K words long. My longest chapter is almost 8K words long. It usually takes me two to three months to write.

I am aware that's too long for the average reader, and also that I take way too long to post them, but I'm writing this story for me because I love it, I love writing and I want it out of my head. It is a nice plus if you also enjoy it.

1k-5k depending on the chapter and what goes on in it. It usually takes an hour to 3 hours per 2k words depending on how much motivation I have at the time and how willing I am to spell most of it wrong. Editing takes about 2-3 hours after that depending.
