So you have this ability to isekai whenever you wish, as many times as you want.

If you're unhappy with your setting, you can push the isekai button and you will be sent to a random new world. You can push it as many times as you want in a row until you're happy with the circumstances you get. You could push it 10 times... 100 times... a thousand times... however long it takes for you to get satisfied. Each isekai is totally different, and you could end up as a different age, with a different family, different circumstances, different species, different gender, different anything... it's perfectly random.

There is one caveat: you are fated to live ~60 more years. After 60-ish years (across all of your isekai lifetimes), you will die.

My first question is if you would push this isekai button (given your present situation in life on Earth)?

My second question is how many times do you think you would push the isekai button. How picky are you? What type of setting would you look for for yourself?

If life ever became hard, would you push the isekai button and bail out?

considering how fucked my rng sometimes in gacha games, i probably will just stick to my current life until i die. how many times i reroll doesnt really matter. when it comes to life itself, i dont like unpredictable things.

my life isn't actually that bad, and i find that i've been taking too much things for granted. i'll try to appreciate the good things in my life from now on.

Zero times. Only thing that could cause me to isekai is death of my husband, and the only 'isekai' I want in that situation is one that takes me to him in some lovely afterlife forever.

Now, 'don't get me wrong', I'm entirely thrilled with the prospect of changing out this body for one that just naturally comes with all the bells and whistles of my dreams, and if I wasn't happily married: I might very well have clicked it until my body felt totally right. I'm pretty much there already as it is, so it'd have to be a pretty snazzy body, and probably not all that different from how I am now.

Setting for such a thing matters, but much less than 'the self' aspect of that. If I go to my death in a world where I got to thoroughly live the way I wanted: it takes a pretty bad setting to make me say 'yeah no', but they certainly exist. If I were to reincarnate as a slave, well: I'd rather not. Or as a snack: rather not. Or as a human sacrifice: what a waste?

Your telling me I can explore thousands of diffrent worlds with diffrent cultures, ecosystems, extra. of course I'm going to take you up on that offer. I'd probably press that button millions of times just to try and see a little bit of everything. And after I get tired of that I'd find a comfy world to settle down in and enjoy whatever time I have left.

Edit: I'm assuming I don't start as a baby because that'd be inconvenient.

Out of curiosity, what kind of features would your comfy world have?

And you would isekai into a variety of different ages.

Would I push it now? Nah, I'd pass... There are some things in my life that I'd definitely want to change, but I wouldn't wish to give up on what I currently have for a chance of something better... I'd rather cherish this life I'm trying to fix.

But if I did press, I honestly wouldn't be that picky I think... I'd basically need the following criteria to accept the world.

1) I'd need to be a girl.
2) The world, or the place I get transported to, needs to feel safe.
3) I need some degree of comfort.
4) I need to understand the language.

Criteria number 3 is the hardest one to quantify, but... I'd need to feel well in the world, otherwise there would be no point.

The other 3 criteria are just the basic minimum to make life worth living, really.
