How long is too long

So I've put about ten, twelve thirteen or so in the "characters" slot in my glossary. And that doesn't even include the locations, items and miscellaneous. How long is too long?

Well, till the time you can give them personalities different enough that we don't get confused, and don't break the flow of storytelling, its fine

I have thirty plus characters in my main story. As long as you make each of them independent and unique without ruining the story then you'll be fine. However, getting someone to draw all those character designs is another matter entirely. They aren't exactly cheap.

one piece has hundreds, so it all depends on how long the story itself is and how good your plan things.
