How I Learned to Rethink Mystery Writing

It's Sunday. You know what that means.

This has been one of the most helpful realizations as a mystery writer for me. I wish I knew it sooner since... argh, it feels so obvious... Ever since it did click with me, I've been rethinking mysteries and able to construct them with so much more ease than I did in the past. It helps that I know how to think like a con artist & a magician, of course.

Anyway, this was a video I've been sitting on for months now and so happy to finally tackle it. Hopefully seeing how I view and understand mystery can help you make better mysteries too.
