How do you write a believable tree?

Hi, my name is quandle dingle. You see, I'm always stuck on this planet you humans called "mars". I am also writing a novel that is based on your planet.

My problem was how to write a believable tree. Ever since I was a little marshan, I was always fascinated by the wonders of your "trees".

They just sit still and would still be a complicated character with character development and feelings.

I mean, trees are just so complicated that I just don't even know how to write them. I'm afraid that I might mess this up.
