So, I realised that in my native language, Hindi,
Do you have a pen?
Will literally be translated to
What you have pen?

And I asked an Indonesian friend of mine, and he said
Do you have a pen?
Will be literally translated to
Pen, yes or no?

I asked a Tamil person, and they said
Do you have a pen?
Will be translated to
Pen?

It's been a while since I studied French, but I think
Do you have a pen?
Will be translated to
Is you have pen?

So, how do you ask yes/no questions in your language?

Do you want to do cocaine off my ass?
Yes

English is a simple language

Dont even ask me to say that in my native language. I'm part native american. I don't think you wanna try to decipher Tohono O'odham. Shit's weird.

In Mandarin/Chinese it basically translates to:
You have one pen?

It's not my native language, but French would be 'Have you a pen?'. Which is entirely distinct from 'You have a pen.' Fun thing about translating French and English, it almost makes sense.

Answer 'Okay' if it confuses you.

In my language it’s: “You have pen no?” (Vietnamese)

i don't know if it differs between dialects but in cantonese it's literally

"borrow a pen here"

you want my pen or you want me to borrow a pen from someone else and give it to you?

I'm from a minor ethnicity, and even I don't speak the language of my people. But, in my first language, I'd say something like:
At you is pen/ at you have pen?

Uh... I guess it depends on who I'm talking with?

The formal way of saying it is "You have a pen?" from where I come.

But in general, I can get away with "Pen?" or "Pen, have?" just fine with most people my age. So yeah, closer to Tamil.

German hasn't the additional 'do' to ask questions so it's simply: Have you a pen?
