How do you add more OOMPH to a hit or event?

Hmm if you want some more hype, I recommend breaking up sentences like someone else previously mentioned and probably to describe more.

For example:
Countless monsters surround the group of adventures, cornering them. Each beast overshadowed the tiny human as they looked upon their prey with greed. Puny weak humans who were outnumbered. Trembling in fear. Withering hope. It was naught but a delectable sight. The beast charged forth with endless desire to wreak havoc and destruction to whatever befalls their sight.

The young A-ranked adventurer gulped. He looked nervously at the swarm as his fingers shook uncontrollably. His eyes were filled with fright. What if the swarm attacked and they failed to manage? His partner who promised to be by his side would be devoured from arm to arm, toyed by these craven bastards. His S-rank leader, the Zealous Hawk, would put up a big struggle as his sword cleave through the ranks. But what if that was not enough? Endless questions and doubts filled the worried young man.

This was not an isolated scene as others also started to mumble nervously. Their figures becoming frail and demure, cowering before the sight of the overwhelming odds.
"SILENCE!"
A loud shout reverberated. It came echoed from the distance and pierced right into the hearts of the weak and demoralized.
"EVERYONE!"
The wisened middle-aged woman shouted. She waved her hands out as she pointed out to the crowd.
"REMEMBER, WHY WE ARE HERE!"
The group slowly looked up. They looked at her eyes, which were burning with valiant hope, unlike their eyes which were dimmed.
"THIS IS OUR TOWN THAT WE HAVE TO PROTECT!"
She loudly berated the crowd.
"But...we cannot retaliate. They outnumber us five to one."
One of the adventurers said weakly.
"Yeah, this is impossible! We cannot win!"
Another cried out tearfully as she broke down on the spot.
"IMPOSSIBLE!?"
The old hoarse voice echoed out once again.
"DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT LIES BEHIND US? YOUR HOMES, YOUR FAMILIES, YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR CHILDREN."
Her voice continued, each word piercing deeply into the adventurers' hearts like sharp thorns.
"IF IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO THEM?"
Each word deeply reverberated into their hearts as they imaged the scene of chaos and death. Blood and suffering spread, not sparing those who are the dearest to them.
"Look, I know the odds are stacked against us. This situation is grim. But even if we have to tear our limbs, break our nails, bite our tongues. Even if we must die...WE MUST WIN! WE HAVE TO!"
The words slowly lit a fire. The fire raged as it fed upon the lingering fears and doubts. It spread far and wide. From one man to two to five to ten to everybody.
"Yes...if we fall who would protect my wife?"
"You are right, my daughter is only one this year. She deserves more happiness than just that."
"I...cannot let my family down, they have always stood with me."
"Yes, we must fight."
The guild master said in a cold tone as she glared at the approaching menace.
""""""WE MUST FIGHT!"""""
The group of adventurers shouted afterwards as they began to draw their weapons.
She then swung her arm out as her sword pointed against the beast, with eyes burning bright with fury she charged forth without any hesitation.
"AND WE MUST WIN!"
"""""WE MUST WIN-WRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!""""""
The group echoed as they charged alongside the leading figure, deep into the embrace of the incoming bloodshed.

---
Something like this I guess. There can be a lot more descriptive terms added, but you can see how the interaction and perspectives are not just static and focused on one character. Too lazy to add any more.

I will not comment on how to elaborate on fight scenes since I am already wasted too much time writing the shouting scene. Same rules apply I guess. More short sentences. More expressions and actions. More swearing. More ball crushing. Capeesh?

@Mysticant @SquigglySquidSquish and @Derin_Edala sorry I haven't been replying to you guys, I've been having a hard time lately, especially since I found out in our test results that my family had gotten positive. I'm the only one healthy and negative so I've been taking care of them, problem is that it's hard to take care of both of them while one needs to wake up early and I sleep late because I'm an insomniac. However, I've taken your comments into deep consideration and have been trying to change the example scenario, given your comments to it. Sorry if I've kept you 3 in the dark although you know full well that I reply very early.

@Sylphias Nono, don't worry friend. I often ghost in the forums too, most of us are busy in our lives and face hard times. Take your time.

Hehe, thank you. But once I finally found time to rest, I'll finish the new edited scenario and save it for you to judge once more. Thank you as well for the feedback you've provided!

Its fine. I hope your family gets better soon. Family and health is more important than answering on forums anyways. Best of luck to you and your family and hope for a speedy recovery.
