How can I change the cover image of my novel?

It's been a week since I sent the image of the new cover for my novel, but it still hasn’t been updated.

Originally, I wanted to submit a new cover for my novel, but it was rejected. A couple of minutes later, I sent a new version for review, and since then, I haven't heard anything else.

I know it takes a little time because it's a manual review, but if I remember correctly, it never took this long before, or at least they would indicate what happened in case it was rejected. But at least in my case, it’s just been silence, and that’s it. I need to change it because I also changed the title of my novel, and obviously I need that change to be reflected in the cover as well.

Could also just be a cooldown issue, so you could try submitting it one more time to normal way.

If they don’t change the cover soon, I’m going to do it myself. I really need to change the cover, and I’ve already spent too much time and money on this for them to stop me from doing something so simple.

Use the Canvas page; it’s easy to edit a cover there.


Although it has several free fonts, many others are paid. In my specific case, I had to create them manually and place them over the cover composition.

If you neither got rejection or approval, then the request got most likely lost somewhere. If you got approved but the cover doesn’t seem to have changed, then clear your cache.

It shouldn’t take this long and it did happen in the past that cover got neither rejected or accepted. The change request just got lost somewhere.

In fact it was an issue that took a couple of weeks to resolve, IIRC.
