Posting here because I've only ever heard bad things about RR forums lol.
But! I was checking in on some stats and noticed this!
The prevailing advice I've seen on SH regarding RR is that you need a high-quality litRPG series to do well. Especially against the hawkish RR readers that will strike down your series at the slightest misgiving! However... I've found decent success with Amelia Thornheart, that has numerous traits which according to the advice given on this site should never do well on RR:
For those who love even more stats:
I also did the quick maths the other night and figured out that since I started the series on SH, I've averaged 1.2k words a day, which was more than I thought, considering the inconsistent release schedule!

- It has no system mechanics
- No erotica or smut
- Lazy title and cover
- Undetailed synopsis
- Inconsistent release schedule
- Not the best prose (first thing I've seriously written)
- Every single chapter with multiple grammar mistakes despite my proof-reading (which some readers very kindly point out and I fix)
- Even more mistakes that slip by the cracks until some sharp-eyed reader spots them several months later
Yet, despite all these disadvantages, RR readers have somehow looked past its faults! What the series does have is fun and interesting characters and world-building. If you do those two well enough, then readers will happily look past all kinds of other things that might be lacking! So, if any of you are worried that you need some trope-filled litRPG system slop with three [System] tags in the series title... you don't!For those who love even more stats:
