Hey folks!
I am new around here and thought I’d finally stop lurking and introduce myself.
A few weeks ago, I started publishing my story Echoes of Etheria, and I’m both super excited (and slightly terrified) to be sharing it with you all.
About me:
I’ve been a lifelong fantasy addict. Magic, swords, virtual reality, and yes… even reincarnated potatoes with grudges (don’t judge).
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve gotten in trouble for binge-reading late into the night, but honestly, no regrets.
About my book:
Here is a quick pitch. Sixteen year old Max Miller just wanted three simple things.
To get over his ex, to look cool in front of his friends, and not to die horribly in a video game.
Naturally, he logs into Kingdoms of Etheria, the most immersive VRMMO ever built… and things immediately go sideways.
With his faithful (but mostly unhelpful) friends Ezra and Gareth tagging along, Max has to stumble his way through a world that doesn’t bend for players, no matter how much they complain. It’s a mix of comedy, chaos, friendship, a fair bit of action (though you might have to wait a few chapters for the fireworks), and maybe a questionable subplot involving loincloths...
So, all in all it’s meant to be a fun ride. I’d love for you to give it a try, and it’s great to finally meet everyone here.
Looking forward to hanging out, reading other people’s works, and just being part of the community!

P.S. I did run into one problem already. I tried adding a forum signature with my book link and cover, but it kept saying it wasn’t possible.
Do I need a certain number of posts first, or am I just doing something wrong?
Any help would be much appreciated.
