Help is it ai/ai assisted?

First english isnt't my first languages.

In the last two weeks or so i startet reading some storys that a relative new and have this weird writing style with "titles" inside the chapter for every other pragraph .
One of the storys the most recent i read (Timeline Hopping Through Fiction till chapter 8 i believe) had this perfectly normale style of writing and just switched to the other one that also pretty much identical to the writing style in the other novels i read (it starts slow in chapter 9 with i belive one "title" near the end of the chapter but multiplies in the following chapters) .
For reference took me a minute but this story has the same fell in writing style the in chapter "titels" are even in thick writing(MHA: I am Superman).

And like i said the storys ain't bad for my taste but the writing style gives me that weird felling that it is ai so i need clarification please.

For all i know it could just be ai assisted .
I just need clarificaton for myself that im not going soft in the head.

For this one im not 100% sure atleast chapter 13 has a similar fell didnt read more till now.

Ok hope it wasn't my fault but for some reason MHA:I am Superman got just taken down by the autor himself . If it was somehow my fault sorry did like the story just wanted claryfication if ai was jused in any way.

Good instinct I compared chapters 8 and 9, and can confidently say AI had a hand in writing the latter. Their styles are completely different, you can tell that chapter 9 is pretty “AI sanitized” if that makes sense.

I'm not blaming.
For all i know it could be ai assisted not completly writin.
I just want to know or be proven right in my feeling because it just feels weird to me and i never as far as i remember seen this style of writing anywhere till now and its in newer novels i found.

I don't see any telltale signs, but the very uncommon paragraph phrasing of
Descriptive 1, "Dialogue 1", Descriptive 2, "Dialogue 2," Descriptive 3

I mean yeah its fanfic slop but that more or less what i like to read at the moment especialy overpowerd or wish fullfilment and there some great fanfics out there that blow new life into the good old classics .

Its like i said its like there is a real person writing it who just decidet to push it trough some kind of ai assistant.
And to your edit i dont know the rest felt to me like the 9nt chapter in style especily with those weird "titel" inside the chapter. I have seen similar "titels" in other novels but in most it for pov/place/time changes.

Wasn't being mean atleast i think i wasn't its like i tried to explain in my original post i over the past days/weeks read storys (relative new one under 20 chaps long ) from diffrent autors where the writing style was practicly identical and like in the example of the most recent one the style the first 8 chaps where normal and starting the 9nt it is completly diffrent almost indentical to other story i read the past days/weeks that give me the felling of its at the very least ai assisted wich i just find weird because why just start with it 9 chaps in ? And because i seen the writing style by diffrent autors i just needed affirmation of my suspision so i could go on with my day .

I mean im still reading the story just going to catogerise it diffriently from now like with the novel so badly writin it almost hurts to read but story is nice so brain is in sleep mode kind.

I’m not accusing anyone, and I’m not asking for witch hunts or proof beyond doubt.


I just noticed a very specific writing pattern showing up in several newer stories, sometimes even starting partway through a story, and it felt off to me. Not bad, just different and strangely uniform across different authors. That’s why I asked — to sanity-check my impression, not to attack anyone.


I’m still reading the story, and I never said it was unreadable or worthless. Mentally categorizing it differently is just how I deal with styles I don’t enjoy as much while still liking the core idea. Other people do the same with amateur writing, heavy exposition, or bad grammar.


If that doesn’t make sense to you, that’s fine — but it makes sense to me, and that was the whole point of asking in the first place.
