By providing a link to the story.

DO they ave to be linked and why should she link them.

No, but it's easier to find the story in question when you have a direct link to it, instead of manually going to their profile.

Having a direct link either in the post or your signature line makes it easier for people to find stuff, especially stuff that has gone live but, for whatever reason, is not available through a search (I had two stories I had to get manually search-enabled in the past).

Plain enough. Are there many overly complicated steps that will accomplish the link?
I keep forgetting to log on to forums when I am in the site. Is there a reason that I have to log into forum with same creds after using them to get on the Hub?
