The argument of MC having cheat/ golden finger in CN is never not funny.
The sentiment is that MC is nothing without his cheat/ golden finger. Obviously there are pushbacks saying mainly two things.
First of, for the cheats that require MC to grind, hardwork has been put into it and it is not as though MC didn't have to do anything and just watch the numbers bump up. Now the counterargument is that MC just has to waste his time doing low level monotonous waste-of-time-&-space shit to become the so-called Supreme Overlord of Dao enabled by the cheat when actual talent is supposed to be needed to actually reach that level.
The second thing which is the most damning but correct; MC has a cheat yes, but so does all those with rich, powerful and supporting folks, being innately smart and talented from the get-go or is so suave to the point that reality is bending to their whims. F2P MC is "merely" fitting over to these unfair whales' playstyle.
Now replace "cheat" with AI and SHF can have another pointless debate that is fun.
What I'm trying to say is that I never expect a stupid argument about MC cheat can become relevant to current times.
