Have any of you take advantage of using the glossary?

Yeah, got some art commissions for my main characters and put them in there, alongside some vocabulary used in the story.

I try to update my glossary every several chapters or so. And, for th most part, I write it in the style of different characters from the story giving their personal explanations of the topic.

I have a very extensive glossary. Goes over who every character is which is nice for readers because I use Chinese names.

Also goes over a lot of concept stuff. Its fun.

Yes, I do. It helps in listing all that stuff rather than jumping through Word documents or slides.

I gave up on it.

It seems like a good idea at first, but it soon became quite a hassle to update, and I gave up on it as there seemed to have little to no benefit in practice.

I dont make Glossary anymore, they're just a way for readers to spoil themselves and then lose motivation to read more

I didn't know that existed, but it seems like a pretty cool function for art like everyone else has said.

I use glossary because I upload infrequently and sporadically. Don’t know if anyone uses it, but I want it to be there so readers can quickly look up the things they don’t remember when coming back to the story.

Also just think it’s fun to fill out

It reminds me of those old books that showcased the list of entire 'cast' before getting into the meat of the story
I might someday! Why not? Seems like fun. Can't help to shake off a feel that it will spoil the narrative a little bit, but whatever
