Hardcore Comfort Zones

Yeah, comfort zones. Places where we can work in peace. But not everyone is similar, and so not everyone's comfort zone is the same.

Mine's in a cemetery. There's a nearby cemetery in our place where I would often come in the afternoon just to write, or draw...depending on the mood. The peace and the nature in that place is enough to calm the mind.

However, the lockdowns happened, and so I was forced to relocate my comfort zone, which I found in our house's kitchen. For some unexplainable reasons, I liked working there.

How about you? What's your hardcore comfort zone?

In this day and age, I'd say my own backyard, which is my current working space/comfort zone is hardcore enough.

Also, I call dibs for the bathroom as the next comfort zone.

It's possible. Who knows?

I feel bad for not being serious so edit: my attic, where it is so hot/cold that I force myself to write enough so I can get out.

I like to work inside a forest nearby our home, filled with mahogany trees. The air is fresh and it's quiet. My home is filled with those people who want to play a fcking rap song everytime so I have a hard time focusing on my work. Thank God I found that good spot.

Oooh...I love that kind of workspace.

However, our area's filled with villages, with only a few nature spots remaining (including the cemetery). ?

Err...how could you write with lights off? Via laptop screen? If so, try to get some anti-radiation glasses. ?

Anywhere, actually. I could just about plop myself down and get comfy. I learned to be comfortable under my own skin wherever I go and the only time I'll ever actually feel anxious is when I trouble others.

To put it into perspective, lemme present a hypothetical situation: if I was in a room with a stranger, I'd behave. But if I was sent into that room under the context that the stranger will be comfortable with anything I'll do, I'll have no problem stripping myself nude and parading my birthday suit around the guy if told to.

Pretty cool, huh?

I mean, your ability to get comfortable everywhere. My greatest weakness is unwanted noise, and my work is greatly affected by it (like playing nephews, screaming kids, etc.)

Sad to say, I don't have a comfort physical zone, but more of a certain timing on a certain day of the month.

To me, be it in my workplace, my own room, or whatever I may be, I follow the Meeseeks' philosophy.

Just recently found mine to be in my car, while parking at various location. From the park, side of the lake, or even close to a swamp.

My place is in a village nearby a forest. So, it's surrounded by so many trees. My cousins who came from the city would sometimes visit us here and say, "It's so boring here and the silence is killing me."

I would only reply with, "That's what I like about this place. It's quiet."

My own room.
Yeah, I know, not the most innovative place, but I can write best there.

I have a desktop computer, but it helps a lot when I get stuck to get up and make some tea, cook something, or clean something when I get stuck. It helps me think.
