I've had enough for fantasy, and level system or whatever bs. Got tired of it.

Any story that entirety powered behind logic and laws?

Is it logical for an iguana to casually cross a busy road and come out completely unharmed?

I ain’t joking, that actually happened. :blob_blank:

Hmm. Have two and a half (the half has a System, and will eventually have some "fantasy" elements, but even those are governed by a set of rules) in progress but none posted anywhere.
You might want to look for "Slice of Life", "Romance," "Mystery" or just straight old "Science Fiction" and exclude the stuff you're tired of.

My story attempts to apply natural laws over top magic and levels. Some people complain it's not character driven (as a fair warning, they're right). If you're interested in the world as the main story driver, then it might be interesting.

Like what do you mean logic and laws? Anything that has no supernatural? Non-fiction?
For short reads:
To Kill a Mockingbird
Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer
The Fault in Our Stars - don't judge me on this.
GTO - Manga, I heard there's a sequel or something.

Or watch:
The Shawshank Redemption
House - the hospital drama
Mushi-Shi - has supernatural tho, but I just rewatched it so I'm feeling kinda nostalgic

you can't really escape from fantasy, but you can ignore LitRPG stuff most people dishes in here. I'd prefer political drama like Madam Secretary, but I'm a sucker for romance

For what I meant logic and laws things about it in my head, sorry if its to vague that I said it from above:

- Any development to get stronger as they know the Logic and the Law of the universe or world. They know how it function, how to use it effectively and efficiently. Even to the most smallest principles of manipulating it (they know the backdoor).

EtE: Similar to normal Fantasy, excluding the system, but more sophisticated behind on its laws and logic.

TL;DR: Driven by human curiosity, its consequences, and overcome it.

- It can be Supernatural stuff, as long it has the principles behind it.

I've done reading most of those genre.

Slice of Life, a relaxing thing to read. A cup of Tea afterwork. Aria The Animation, a good example of it.

Romance? I've already read hundred of them. Even a Manwha called "Who made me a Princess" since 2020, which I already finished reading long ago.

Mystery, more of those detective stuff like Conan. I've watch some of them, only a few were my cup of coffee. Even with some the most Cliché ones.

Personally I lean towards fantasy, sci-fi, or crime/detective genres.
Try Hercule Poirot. If that is not powered behind logic and laws, I don't know what is.
I can also offer The Eagle's Flight, but while that is a low fantasy, the world is mostly mundane. There are only a few points when magic is actually present and overt.
Or the War of the Worlds, for an 1898 book it's quite realistic sci-fi. Depending on the edition, it's also free or almost free on Kindle.
