Recommendations Good/decent harem story

I've searched for a good harem story for years. So far only the Project Socialize was a good one, but everything else has at least one of following: a crappy wish fulfillment fantasy, meh harem, unlikable MC, bad smuts, or mediocre story.

Anything is fine as long it's decent and somewhat enjoyable: From here to other sites, and even LN translations.

In order to know what to recommend in a more concrete way, it'd be cool if you write what you're looking for specifically.
For example, are you looking for a cynic/incel mc that has women raining on him? Are you looking for any kind of harem even if it's all women? A harem full of men? Women being servants to the mc? Slaves to his trouser snake? 'Gulping the goo' kind of smut? Facing premature ejaculation on his first time, which around 70% or men's first sex so it's realist to the T? What kind of story are you looking for?
We don't know your tastes, and not everyone has read Project Socialize. I haven't, at least.

If you take away women getting along, it stops being wish-fulfillment, in my opinion. Imagine a story about a harem where women fight for the place of number one wife. Bribery, poisoning, gossip, etc. Kind of how harems actually were, where women don't necessarily love the man and only want to take hold of the power.

If I was searching for fetish, I would be looking for a smut straight away. I want a decent/good read and I don't mind new things. I could care less if the MC is a good guy, or butt naked incel rolling up on sci-fi unicorn waifu to add another girl to his harem, as long is done well.

I mean that the harem thing is there to stroke ego, and that's okay. It's good, it's healthy, it's needed to a certain extent. Let's call things what they are.

Dunno, not every person wants to hold great power if great responsibility comes in tow. I agree that almost every harem story is a wish-fulfillment. Practically every story, but not a tag itself. Harem can be a source of very good drama and heart tearing moments.

That almost sounds like you are describing one of my stories Actually, scratch that, both of them. But, some people can't look over the title and assume that there's no actual harem in the first one while it actually exists alongside "other relationships" because it takes a volume or two before the actual harem shows up

Given the quality of responses here, the chances you'll find what you're looking for is slim to none. I wish I could help you, but I've yet to encounter anything decent myself.

I have read a shit ton of harem stories so much so that I even started writing my own. There are definitely some good ones, but the majority is so bad that I can barely remember a handful. I'll just say this: RR has decent harem stories, SH has decent smut.


I can't remember any LNs so I'll recommend some of the stories I have or am currently reading:
