Goblin harem physics?

So, until recently goblins have always been the bad guys in my stories. They aren't appealing to me. They've always... I've always pictured them to look ugly, vile, and violent kind of like how the Goblin Slayer story portrays them.

But I've noticed there are stories with pretty goblin harems now. Some of them are actually pretty good. I haven't done a goblin harem story yet. Not sure yet if I will.

Are readers into goblin harems now? Or orc harems? And I wanted to do a probe to readers to ask why there's a appeal there?

Is it it the ultra high sex drive of orcs and goblins that make them appealing in a harem? I supposed that some people maybe this is the reason, particularly when in real life they see human girls are taught to hate men.

And how do they explain goblins and orcs being 'pretty', instead of ugly? I hypothesized there might be a system where the orc or goblin harem girls aren't normal goblins/orcs, but maybe their appearance stats are souped up somehow? Maybe they are like high human versions, except the orc, goblin variant?

What do you think on this? And is there demand for that?

Goblin Slayer

This is how nature works, a natural progression. It starts with Goblin Slayer, it ends with Goblin Layer.

Serious answer, I didn't read those stories, so can't comment. Have no idea if there is any demand for it either, but I find this idea to be great. If you look through harem stories, at least KR, JP, and CN ones, you will notice they have the same cast in almost all of them. They also share the same standards of beauty. Which isn't bad per se, but it gets stale and boring after some time. Always thin, with big chests, long black hair, conventionally pretty face. Same fantasy races are in the harem as well; beastmen, dragons or dragonkin, elves, you get the drill. It gets boring.

Orc mommies and goblin shortstacks in this sense are something fresh and new. As for how do you explain why they are pretty, by making your own world and having MC that doesn't share his taste with 99% of MCs from KR, JP, and CN harem novels. It is this simple. Some people like big boobies, some like small ones. Some people like soft tummies, some like visible ABS on women. Some like short hair, some like long hair. The list goes on and on.

You know, there is a AVN called the Goblin Layer made with RPG Maker, actually quite funny.

Why goblins? Well in the worlds where goblins are in harems, they are generally not the ugly little beast typically portrayed. The females then become cute short stacks, either loli like or busty. It gives the writer a reason to have a 3 foot tall love interest for the MC to toss around like a toy. It is a goblin, thats why they are so small.

For orcs...I haven't seen it as much, but muscle mommies are a thing and a orc fits that stereotype in a fantasy setting.
