Getting a lot of DMs after publishing my new story

I recently started posting a new story, only 2 chapters so far. But I have started getting DMs, am I being swarmed by people trying to sell a service? The first message was simple, hey, I like your work. The second message was straightforward, trying to sell their artwork. But I have got 6 messages so far, and each one keeps getting more flowery, like it being written to pander. I wasn't sure, but is the site getting swarmed by people trying to sell services now?

Indeed, masses of bots~. They swarm beginners. They will stop eventually.
