I can't draw for jack so I'm kind of proud of this one. Don't care that it isn't exactly what I wanted it's good enough. Though I did get lazy. I wanted too keep shading and the sword clearly isn't done but my hands hurt so screw it. I'll put the novel link if ya want to get a better idea of what I wanted. Fun fact! I forgot what skin color I wrote so I guess it's blackish grayish now! Off to change that now!
Just realized I may have posted this in the wrong thing? Can someone tell if I did and if so where do I post it.

It's a small spoiler but I'll answer since the hints are already in the first chapter. The slender arms and legs and boney waist are supposed to symbolize starvation and weakness. The mouth starting from the head and ending at chest around the heart symbolizes that it cannot think rationally with a warped desire to feed filling it's heart. The claws symbolize it's beastly nature when adding into account the tentacles which highlight it's inhuman nature. The sword it weilds shows that, it has interacted with a sentient creatire at some point. The way the monster goes still after the mc gets it to knock it's sword off it's tentacle shows that it feels something similar to attachment to the sword. Finally is the marking. The drawing is bad but if you want a better description I reccomend you read the novel. This detail is very important so I will leave it up to interpretation. Please note that any monster or background details will have varied significance in world building. I encourage people to find them as this is supposed to be inspired by the souls series
