as the title suggests I'm looking for feedback on my story. I'm not getting any readers (for good reason), let alone any interactions, so I'm kind of in the dark here Tempokai gave me some tough love ( I hope that's what it was ), and I tried to fix the issues he mentioned, but I still have a lot of doubts.

I'd really appreciate any feedback, so don't worry about hurting my feelings, if you didn’t like it based on the synopsis or if you just didn’t want to continue reading and felt like I wasted your time, feel free to drop a one star and vent here, hopefully it’ll help both of us.

Yeah, you are writing in genres that don't have a huge following here (as my first story, Diamond in the Rough, showed, there is little interest in Noir; slightly more in "traditional" mystery, but it still does not have a huge amount of readers interested in it).
Also you might attract a few readers when you hit ten chapters, and more if you hit 20 and then 50 (if it goes that far - mine ended at about 23, but has sequels).

it's really unfortunate, but the other genres I'm not sure I have what it takes to write them,
and I'm trying to write more chapters, I already have in mind what I want for the story at least the first part , I just hope the execution won't let me down,
btw I think Diamond in the rough is on my plan to read list,( for inspiration) , I didn't know it was finished

I may go back and revise some chapters but yeah - though Blood Diamond (Book two) is in progress. Slow progress but progress. :D
