I'm getting a lot of folk stop at chapter one. I'd really appreciate a few eyes on it just to see if there's something obvious I'm missing about why it's not grabbing folks.

Story page is here: https://www.scribblehub.com/series/1253758/playing-god/

Blurb:

Summoned by Lira, a stunning priestess, Nigel is yanked into a magical world of swords and fantasy. She believes he’s a God; he’s more of an atheist. Yet with the fate of this new realm resting heavily on his shoulders, he'll need to muster all his skills. Spoiler alert: in this world, his skills are non-existent.

Thank you very much in advance.

Truth to be told, there's nothing wrong with this webnovel you've writing. I've read the 5 chapters for it. It's of normal quality. Really, not masterpiece but not a bad piece of media. Technical writing is good and easy to read, which is good for LitRPG. It's a type of webnovel that would explode in RR (but not on SH, maybe). if you keep up with the weekly uploads. There's a decent foundation, but worldbuilding is nonexistent, as usual for LitRPG. In the wild, I would skip it because it's LitRPG, and it reeks of Re:Zero type of shenanigans, which I don't like. I don't see any glaring issues, besides it being formulaic.

Thank you for taking a look. Forgive my ignorance, but what are Re:Zero shenanigans?
