I am retarded, let this be known.

But I am stumped abit to only find Gungnir and technically it is not a thrown weapon.

So yeah, I want to ask yall about well known thrown weapons of legends.

I think the flying guillotines in China count. They are most definitely of fiction and looking like saucers before the net drop down to decapitate people is cool.

I colored Judeau because he deserves more love than Griffith : Berserk

All I can think of is the trident, but THE LEGEND throws knives

Hmm. I will cheat and use NEO-GOOGLE aka ask an ai.

Heracles had arrows dipped in hydra blood.

Zeus’s thunderbolts are generally presented as basically just divine javelins, as were fashionable at the time.

Vijaya Dhanush, a bow created by the Hindu gods which has the same ambiguous “you just win” power that Longinus has from the looks of it. Would be a funny matchup.

In fact, several Hindu gods/legendary figures have named bows. Gandiva, belonging to Arjuna, apparently could shoot 100 arrows at once. Presumably accurately, seems only marginally useful otherwise.

Gae Bulg was mostly used as a thrown weapon

Luin of Celtchar sounds badass; it’s a flaming spear that needs to be quenched in blood or poison.

Izanagi used a magic arrow once, but that was mostly for constructive purposes. Making Japan, specifically.

David’s sling was ostensibly a normal sling and did only plausible sling things, but hey. You can assume it got juiced up by the experience if you like.

Kaman-e Arash was apparently able to fire arrows 1000 leagues, and was used to mark the borders of Iran

Please for the love of all things good use actual google to verify all of these before using them.

Some of the Arthurian swords had some wild abilities like growing to any length desired, shooting laserbeams(beams of holy light), being a nuclear launch pad, being a glowstick(this is a ranged weapon because it allows others to see you from far away and at night), and being a staff of lightning from the heavens upon thy enemy sometimes.
