Ever used leitmotifs for your characters?

For me, I link actual songs on the "author's notes" section at the bottom, but sometimes, I feel they just don't fit some of the characters and more on how I "vibe" with them. The first example where I feel like it does fit the character is this chapter:

Thunderstruck by AC/DC always felt poignant to the protagonist I created since he shoots lightning from his fingertips and is a cocky brawler with barely any sense of imminent danger.

Then, there's the second example where I feel conflicted about my music choice, especially on the latest chapter:

I chose Viva la Vida by Coldplay mostly because I introduced a king-type character, not because I thought of a full backstory for him in the future. But since I do love this song, maybe I can use it as a template.

As for the other characters, I'd say their leitmotifs are fitting enough, even if I had to use a Bastille song that isn't Pompeii.

Good for you, the latest chapter I had mentions Nickelback's "Photograph" as a joke. (i.e. drunk character belts out embarrassing song trope) The fact that said character is isekai'd doesn't help since there's other reincarnators who can laugh at it.

It's in my opinion that the story of Darth Plagueis the Wise is intended to be utilized by the apprentice of the titular Darth Plagueis the Wise now seeking his own apprentice.
