Quit!
I read this message on a T-Shirt. Don't try, quit. It was a T-shirt my coworker designed himself. At first, I was, what? To be fair, he had some pretty cringe things on the other side of the shirt. English words written so, that when one read them, they sounded like a call for a blow job in Bulgarian.
But those words got me thinking. Don't try, quit. I stopped trying to update my stories every day, I skipped a couple of days of writing during this week.
I quit.
Heck, I even quit doing my job as perfectly as possible. Personally, I thought I will be fired, but it has been a week since I stopped giving a shit, and I still have a job. So, since this sentence worked so well with my job, I figured I could maybe put it to use with writing.
So I quit trying to churn out words like there is no tomorrow. Made time for the important things in life, like getting enough walks, taking the time to relax, cooking good food, sleeping enough.
It is going good, so far.
Sane people get inspiration from poems, I get inspiration from T-shirts. But, as long as something works, it does not need improvements, right?
Happy writing, everyone! =)
