Don't leave bad reviews if you are writing a story

Just wanted to say that today I woke up to check a story I started writing on the site. The story itself hasn't gained much traction and I haven't released a chapter in a few days, so the views a day dropped to <20.
What I find next is that the author, on whose story I left a 1 star review (the story was written by a non native person with very bad writing in English and the MC was a very annoying "genius" that the story kept praising without showing any genius) "read" 1 chapter of my story, subscribed to me and most likely left a 1 star rating.
I say most likely, because I, of course cannot be certain but this is only my third rating and this has tanked the rating very hard.
So, if you don't want revenge from salty authors, you shouldn't leave any bad reviews on any series.

Oh god that does sound annoying. To have a genius mc it's important to at least try, even if you get literally everything wrong sometimes it can still be fun to read with brain switch in the off position.

Yeah, totally! There are a lot of good genius MC's, but in this case it was either her stating the absolutely obvious and the system kept praising her, or she would make connections between absolutely unrelated things and make "deductions" that would turn out to be try

You can report those reviews if you suspect its a troll review and get it removed

Omg I just visited the forum and there are so many responses.
First of all, I do not want to tell the name of the author in question, because that would only add on to the hate and perpetuate the hate. If you want to you could probably find it yourself. My story is named "Priestess of Sin" and you can view my profile.
Second of all, I contacted support and they said I needed proof that the rating was given as revenge.
So, I messaged the author and asked him on "feedback" and the reason for 1 star. He replied that he was petty and that this is his fault but did not remove the rating.
So I screenshotted the Convo and sent it back to the support.
I just god back the information that the rating has been deleted.

Well, I don't know. If I were sorry I would have read the book and given it a honest review. He did nothing, so I contacted support. It all worked out in the end
