Does readers want an Improved English than Simple English writing?

I don't know whether the readers wants to read an Improved and professional English or Simple English that can be read with one look.

I want to make my first novel to be adapted to the manga list or anime list or even movie list, but the problem is that I'm a Filipino and I only know a Simple English words and doesn't know a few words that contains a lot of meanings.

My Novel has good story (not at the beginning like 1-10 chapters) but I haven't read any Novels before making a novel. So does it only Writing matters or the Plot matters?

The more I write this discussion, the more I'm confused what I am typing here.

Most people I know prefer simple english. Including me. I think it should be fine.

personally, I hate having to look up fancy words. Nice and simple does the trick

I think simpler language makes it more available to a wider audience. Complicated words can make something more difficult to read.
What is more important is the spirit of a story, and how you decide to present it (writing skill).

My novel's writing style is getting better and better, now the grammar is stable. But I do still have to read some English and learn English class to improve
