Does anybody have any recurring dreams you can share.

I have one, and the first dream of that place was like years (like 2018 or somethin) ago (but I’m bad at remembering things) and it happened for every day (eventually turning into every week) but one day it just stopped. After that I forgot about it and it was all nice, but late 2022 I had that dream again, now I don’t really know if it’s recurring or not but when I woke up I was like ‘hey wasn’t that a bit familiar?’ and my brain was like ‘its a recurring dream’ So I Don’t really know if it’s a recurring dream or if my mind is playing tricks on me .

The dream was like this, if I remember correctly:
it’s always a sunny day, the sky is white or very pale blue (most likely white) [now the start is random most of the time, the latest dream started with me walking from my current home, turning some places And finding myself in over there/ the other one I remembered, some old lady (I think ) asked me to get her a live chicken after that I just walked forward and found myself there] there is a large road and on the sides are houses (the houses are grey with coloured roofs, like hot pink, red, blue, green, brown. But they are all very small and all the same size, sometimes the houses look like they repeat endlessly ), the houses have no gaps in between (or the gaps are too small for someone who is standing in the middle of the road, aka dream me) the road is beige with a tinge of pale green, occasionally there are rocks (never in your path but to the sides with the houses, they are gray) after walking for a while you will find a big house, there is no door, like the other houses, there are squares for windows but no actual window, unlike the other houses (it also has no roof, not even a ceiling) , walk in you will find that this house has life in it, like live chicken, or the boy that eats the popsicles you deliver(this is the latest dream) after walking in you will see, to your right, the wall that is connected to the ‘door‘ (it’s just a rectangle) Has crates that , in the latest dream this is crates of popsicles which you add to (now idk if the crates were new or were always there) and the rightmost wall has a ‘window’ Which shows nothing but white, and I don’t know whats to the left wall because I never Looked.
The new thing I think I added to my Dreams were , crates(maybe, because I never looked rightwards to see) popsicleS, boy who took the popsicl, and what is the most weird addition (maybe because it could have been there since a while back, so it might not be a new thing) is that in the middle of the road (where you walk), in your path, are dead pigeons (or maybe not pigeons but some dead bird that comes in dark blue, white or black)

So yeah that’s my recurring dream, if there are any things that look off or something it’s because autocorrect hateS me (Or maybe my keyboard?)

I rarely dream, but there are five or more recurring dreams, and the first one was in 2004 or something. I haven't seen any of them recently, and I'm too lazy to remember all of them, sorry.

most of my dreams are just me shitpodting online then slowly getting wackier until I wake up. Most of said dreams are influenced by whatever game I was binging at the time.

Falling, drowning, aspirating, slipping or being eaten. Major recurring themes rather than exact dreams. An actual recurring dream was, I kid you not, a rendition of Alice in Wonderland and an amalgamation other fairy tales. One thing that was super constant were sheep jumping over fences, with one being an electric sheep.

When I was very young (like, five years old or something) I was scared of entering the basement because it was basically raw concrete walls with poor lighting. I had dreams that I was trying to go upstairs from the cellar, but the stairs were melding with my feet and I couldn't move.

I had that dream at least four of five times, but it passed when I grew older and got used to the basement.

The other one is with falling, which is more like a theme. I used to have dreams that I was doing something, but failing and falling down from various places. I generally woke up after hitting the ground, although that varied. Sometimes it was when I was still in the air. It's likely because I'm not good with heights.

I have a reoccurring dreams sometimes where I fight monsters in various situations. All of them end when I acknowledge it was a dream. That's how inspiration for my novel had came from.

Last one was a magic academy setting, and I was arguing with something about the fireballs being flashy but ineffective at the fight that was happening. After that, I realized it was a dream and my mind woke up.

I die and I still had to go for classes is a recurring dream I often have. A few days ago a girl told me she often goes to men's toilet when the line at the female one is too long and that night i had the same recurring dream but instead this time I died at men's toilet and it was filled with girls.

Not particularly, but there are dreams where I will fall into a pit then I will wake up and jolt.

No, I haven't encountered any recurring dream. Only those that I remember.

Both of them happen when is as a child, and both of them are SI fanfic or some kind, and I don't even know the existence of fanfic until 9 year later.

It's basically the results of what could happen when sheltered 10yo who only watch happy film from Disney & DreamWorks, and suddenly he watch animation that deceivingly beautiful where everything stars happy but everything slowly goes wrong after another, then new briend betray MC, old friends forced to escape leaving MC, and when new friend tries to make up, MC is betrayed again by new partner, new friend that tries to make up helps MC but failed and fall off to the supranatural lake portal. Supranatural Event happen until MC is forced to sacrifice her life to save this friend.

It's the first time I watch MC dies, and it doesn't end. The person MC painstakingly saves will never know MC dies nor that he will know MC even sacrifice her life, He could only scream her name because she just suddenly disappeared in his point of view. He can only wonder if she forgives him or leaves him, he just know nothing as none of this make sense. He simply didn't know that MC's dead body that were supposed to be near him is taken away by one of MC's relative before he woke up.

And everything went depressing. The friend MC saves pack for his thing and go home, since he can't find anything nor do anything.

Surprisingly MC is reincarnated and get the good life she wants. Even MC got the memento from her past life.

At that point, I'm just a kid.

A normal person is supposed to just be cry and sad about it, and then cope and forget.

But I'm in denial. I didn't cry, I simply hold the saddened feeling.

I'm very desperate and obsessed to know if this is the thing that's supposed to happen.

Because if every film i watch so far had good ending, this one should've have it too right ?

So be it, I watched the whole internet to find about this film and kept getting disappointed.

It took several year before I know that there's story with bad ending, and several days afterwards to accept that fact that the film have bad ending.

Once I dreamed to change the ending and have happy event of school field trip with those characters. But everything is just empty after the school trip, since I don't know how thing usually goes in stories.

Then i watch ghibli films and accept those very wide open ending.

The end.

Next time your kid watch bad ending film/stories, have a long talk with them, in case they have problem digesting the story.

I don't know, but for the recent months after I cut off communications with the girl I like, she keeps on appearing in my dreams looking for me...

...which I know is impossible IRL because she doesn't have romantic feelings for me. And I treat prior relations with her as a thing of the past.

All kinds of different situations that eventually has me ending up drowning but as it goes darker, i see faint lights around me settling into place.

I try to swim around to see something from the lights and I realize I'm swimming in space and the lights are stars.

usually around at that time I realize they're stars, I feel a pulling sensation as If something cosmic is turning my body into the direction it wants me to see, which turns out to be a growing planet.

I fall within minutes through the atmosphere, heading to the seemingly peaceful clouds.

When I enter the clouds, it into a dense fog full of strong winds and lightning striking around me, and eventually I see a landscape intermittently into view by the flashes of lightning and whenever I'm sure I'm about to hit the ground, I wake up.

One of my recurring dream I get is just that same story of where it's like backrooms but without monsters and I'm just exploring the different world my mind create image off. I usually forgot them for a day or week but sometimes it lingers for hours or a month
