Do you remember those moments when you gave 10 cents to a beggar and you felt like you are the kindest being on the planet and everyone else was cruel... That time, when you felt like you are the main character....

Dyamn... It's so embarrassing to remember these memories now when I'm in my late twenties... I was such a cringe corn?

Tho I still feel this way?

Wait till you're sitting at home one day drinking a coffee decades from now and you suddenly think up some embarrassing thing that you did in middle school and while you vividly remember it happening you can't for the life of you recall anyone's name or face.

I remember one time as a kid where I tried to tip the waiter 10 cents but my parents stopped me and said that they might find that insulting.

I think that’s in like Japan. In the west, tips are appreciated, because it can be the breaking point between meeting your bills or not.

I guess my parents thought tipping such a small amount would seem like an insult
