Do you read other WNs on this site in the genre you write?

What the title says. I'll start:

No! I'm terrified I'll find someone doing exactly what I'm doing but better, and my fragile ego couldn't handle that. Interested in what other authors on this site do though.

Goodness I’d love to read another gothic fantasy romance with unbelievably sappy yearning. If you know one, please tell me. ?

But this book has a pretty similar flavor of romance to my own (soft and tender, emotional connection before physical, mutual simping) except in an Eastern aesthetic rather than Western. It’s my favorite ?

Lol, I totally get you, Futanari superhero rom-com seems like too niche of a genre to find someone completely owning me at, but that's why it'd be all the more embarrassing if I did! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for yearny period peices for you!

Though I prefer to read complete works so I often go for translated works, I do read a couple of stories on this site. There are hidden gems with not enough readers imo

Yeah... I read a few stories that are similar to mine, but lately I'm afraid of discovering something unique and interesting and then feeling the need to try to copy it.... It's strange, but I want to write my story how I'd write it, without copying/stealing ideas from others. It's a little complicated.

Name em! Give them the publicity they deserve!

No, I totally feel you! I have the same fear.

Yea, I've read several stories on this site :blob_evil_two:

I'm a bit jealous of this one because our stories started close to the same date, but their story blew up in popularity leaving mine in the dust cx but I hold no malice or ill will toward them. I've kept up to date with their story, however they've stopped adding chapters for a while. Maybe life happened, who knows. But they have a large audience waiting for their return.

Summary: A weak mage gets kidnapped and forced to serve as a potential husband to a tribe of Goblin Girls. He gets accustomed to it and even teaches them a few things while fathering the next generation of Goblins. It sounds like it has a lot of smut, but surprisingly there's not as much smut, and when there is it isn't the main focus. Still, it's a low-stakes slice of life story with Goblin Girls. It's casual, the character chemistry is the highlight for me. My review goes more in depth to what I like and dislike.
Author is @tounokenja

Also read this one!

You know those classic fantasy smut stories about the female protagonist going on a journey, interacting with new people and experiencing satisfying raunchy bedroom fun? That's this story, but the characters are anthropomorphic. It's fun! The smut scenes lean more toward the focus of the chapter for good old spicy action, and I love the build up to its scenes. The cast is great, and all in all the story serves as a fun slice of life sex adventure. I'd recommend it, it was a fun read. Still ongoing, as far as I'm aware
Author is my friend @LeilaniOtter be sure to give her a follow! She's very sweet and caring :blob_gift:

I wanted to mention a third story but it was removed sometime ago :blob_pat_sad: so that's a bummer.

But the fourth story I'm currently reading is a Gothic tone romance by @pangmida she's a talented artist and an ambitious author for the story below!

It's a slow burn romance involving politics, a cute romance, and it has a lot more to say thematically and symbolically! I want to say more but I'm currently reading this one myself cx but I would recommend it for romance fans! Give it a read and be sure to give her a follow as well :blob_gift:

And yea, those are so far the main stories I've caught up with, the exception being the current story I'm reading at the bottom of said list

I spot checked a few chapters in my genre, so I can see how the competition is here.
