Seriously though, what you need is a flip phone. Put people's numbers in there. When you're bored, flip through and text people to ask if they would like to have a phone conversation. Unfortunately, calling people without warning is considered rude these days, so you need to text first to get their permission.

Never really believed in it per se, since I was raised in less than favorable conditions and my parents didn't sugar coat me from the truth. Don't really know whether this was a good or a bad thing to experience as a child.
